[Sprite Tournament Part 1]

Not very interesting.

Fights could be longer, and you really need to have the semi finals and finals in there... not that I really care who wins.

Well, again, the fights WILL be longer in part two. Maybe if this gets blammed I'll make it into one, and I'll put it all in one movie without breaks.

Great but...

I was really impressed by the style of this, by how cinematic it looked and how cool the animation blended with the live action.

But...

The writing sucks. It was just inane and interminable. I didn't find it at all funny and/or interesting. Merely having a surreal situation and character does not translate to good comedy. I am, of course assuming you were going for comedy, which I cannot say for certain because it wasn't funny. But you've committed the double crime of making it pointless and monotonous.

Hopefully future installments might have a bit more of a direction behind it.

This piece has an interesting sense of style, but the song is just intolerable: especially in the beginning, when it sounds like a record skipping. Also, I think that a little more than the same repeated animations is needed for a successful music video.

You gotta be kidding

I've watched all nine of these pieces of flash, and I still can't figure it out. Why is Bush kissing these people? You have once again failed to provide context for you piece. In an earlier episode I suggest that you attempted to provide some context, perhaps some dialogue. You responded by saying that adding text would take away from it and that people wanted to see the "action."

but...

-There is no action to be seen. No blinking, no blushing, even the kiss looks more like two pictures hitting each other than like people kissing.
-When I said add dialogue I didn't mean add text. I meant go get a friggin microphone and do some friggin voice acting. And animated lips moving when they talk. Or at least when they kiss.
-You claim you put effort into these, but how is that so if you are able to crank out 4 in the course of two days?
-What you really mean is that adding context would involve putting work into it, which you are not willing to do.

These piss me off so much because they are the very height of laziness and for some reason they keep getting protected. I suspect the real effort you put into these is going to a computer lab and voting fives on all the different computers just to get it protected.

And if there is anybody out there that actually likes these, please, please explain it to me, because I just don't get it.

Why?

If you are going to take a bad idea and make it into a movie, at least do it right. Provide a backstory or context for this kiss, have some cheesy dialogue. Maybe you might want to cut to close ups of their eyes, or have Bush blush, or even blink. Hell, I'd even settle for Bush doing the Numa Dance. You clearly put no effort into this at all, and worse yet, it is a ripoff of an already bad idea.

Why?

Does anything happen after the kiss? Anything? I barely had the patience to sit though the slow motion tween, and if anything does happen it takes way too long for it to move on. I guess I am just curious what the motivation behind this was. This is part four in the series? I assume that the rest are just Bush kissing other people? If this thing gets protected I will seriously question the credibility of Newgrounds voters.

It seems as though the Instanbul song just cuts off. I bet this was unintentional. Fix this and it will be perfect.

yeah its not supposed to - but i cant seem to get everything to line up - the animation runs so much slower online..
